REI investments hires dodgy shady contractors who don’t pull permits. They’ll do electrical, plumbing, and structural work without any care in the world and leave the buyer with the non permitted work, the risk, and ultimately the bill and time for doing the work correctly and with permits. They’re fine gambling with the health and safety of clients to earn a quick buck.
BUYER/INVESTOR BEWARE! This was in 2015 but it's worth pointing out to current customers. REI did a remodel on my home before I purchased it. According to the original sales flyer, they put in "updated HVAC." False claim. The home currently has a large amount of asbestos insulation board and tape that they nailed Pex water supply mounts into. They completely ignored the asbestos during the renovation. I am now faced with a complete removal. They should have done it when the basement was in studs and unoccupied. Now, I have t... read more
