I am preparing a late summer hiking trip in Europe. I have visited this REI location in Durham at least 4 times since February 2026. The first time was to select new hiking shoes. The sales rep was very honest, knowledgeable and helpful. I decided on a pair of new Oboz which have been great. The next time I visited in March to look at travel backpacks. I like the employees but not the company
Fantastic store. Far bigger than I thought. I picked up great boots on sale. But it was the whole shoe department that was fantastic. They are really good and helpful people. Will be coming back when I have more cash
