Went looking for running shoes, found some on clearance for a reasonable price. You need employee assistance to try on their options, which I'm not a huge fan of, but Mike made the process quick and easy with his prompt, honest, and friendly service. You will be approached by an employee at some point, which can feel a little pushy, but they are as a rule friendly, knowledgable, and willing to give you space if you ask for it.
It took over 7 days to ship me an item. REI support gave me many excuses to avoid the shipping delay. Absolutely bad customer service. I wont return to REI again.
Buying a membership pays off. They have everything you are looking for here. There is also a clearance rack of like returns. It is always the most random products, but they are great deals! It is a nice store.
