As always, I immediately headed to the returns. At the Gretna store, it's located at the rear and to yhe left.
Went in to return a small air pump and was denied. I was told it was missing the small USB cable and I said I had one in my car that I could go get. He also said he would not accept the return as I needed the small plastic protective cap that was on the nozzle when it shipped. Wait, what? That is packing material. YAWN! He refused to accept the return. This was a complete waste of gas, time and effort.. He inspected this $30 pump like it was a $45,000 item.. Today was the first time I’ve gone into REI, recently I have decided that I want to go hiking as someone who has never really gone to a trail to hike. Amanda was there and I told her about my situation and she gave me a lot of tips and told me about some local trails I could try out, she also gave me more information on the boots I had came in to try on.
