Eric in the bike department is the best! He went above and beyond throughout the entire process. From start to finish, his level of customer service was outstanding. I had an incredible experience getting fitted for an Osprey hiking backpack by Mark, he offered above and beyond service. He took the time to explain everything clearly, from how the pack should sit on my shoulders to how to properly adjust the straps. I learned so much in such a short time, and Mark was super patient and knowledgeable. He is someone I would come back to the store for questions I had about my hiking gear, amazing customer service!
OK, I've enjoyed REI for the most part, and didn't wan't to be negative. But, 3 days later, an experience in men's shoes is still living rent-free in my head. I was not at my best this past Saturday, having just received very bad health news from an immediate relative. I thought it would be better to occupy myself, so off I went on a shoe-hunt.
