REI is my clear favorite for outdoor equipment and clothing. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff and the quality of what they sell is first class. Plus as a member you always can get very good deals. It's almost the only place that we buy outdoor equipment from.
Horrible customer service from staff. I usually have a great experience in the Seattle store. Staff was confused and un willing to help. Had zero kids bikes in Stock. Completely frustrating waste of time.
Great experience in the bike shop with Randy and the other guys. They really helped me out with a fix as I was traveling through. They put the local friendly in LBS for REI. Thanks guys !
Items on the very obvious clearance selection were apparently not on clearance at all.... Prices are absurdly high here anyways for what you get, and you can't browse around for even 3 minutes before a new employee comes around to ask if you need help (obviously it's for loss prevention, and with those prices I get it, but here it's like getting swarmed by mosquitoes). Never going to shop here again unless we absolutely have to, which I can't imagine we will 🤷♂️
Found vital camping items easily and got a superb campsite recommendation! Very much appreciated.
