Holding local artist hats hostage for Rei memberships. I was willing to pay full price(cash) for 2 local hats, They refused to sell me the hats stating I need a 30$ Rei membership but they will discount the hats 30$ to make the difference . Very strange situation. I do not want a membership I just wanted to buy the hats. Walked out and local artist lost a sale. Bad business practice
