Disappointed with my visit to REI Tucson I decided to check out the REI Tucson store after my wife picked up a pair of shoes using a gift card she received for joining the co-op. We were excited to browse, but my experience left a lot to be desired. Friendly staff, great selection (even one day after Christmas) If you park near H&M, you'll need to take the stairs down to the REI entrance. (Only important if someone in your party doesn't do stairs.) However, you CAN park closer to REI entrance on lower level.

Love the store and the materials. Watch out for clearance labels and sales. We picked clothes out off the clearance and sale racks but they were very tricky with their tactics here (my wife said it felt like they were cheating). I grabbed blue pants off the 30% off rack, but only the green ones were on sale. Same thing with shirts, my red one was on sale but the same exact ones in other colors were not on sale, just the red (photo of tags provided).
