this is the ultimate store if into hiking, skiiing, backpacking, biking or outdoor sports. They carry tons of different clothing brands Top Gear backpacks, freeze dried foods and write down to what you would need for backpacking in the wilderness or mountain biking. It’s a beautiful store, well organized, and friendly staff.

I had a pretty disappointing experience with Erin at REI. I went in looking for help in her department, but she didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the products or able to answer basic questions. On top of that, her attitude came off as rude and a bit awkward, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. I usually expect really helpful and friendly service at REI, so this was definitely not what I’m used to. Hopefully this was just a bad day, but it wasn’t a great customer experience.

Incredibly smug and rude manager on duty who talks down to customers. With the amount of money I spend here a return should be a quick and easy process. Corporate can work it all out at this point.

02/26: same 01/24: same 10/23: same 2020: Been an REI member since 1977, great outfit. And the product line had sure expanded over the years. Kalispell store seems like nice folks. This store is excellent at enforcing the mask mandate and protecting customers health. They are to be commended.
