Makes me sad to write this review, but I have been a member for a few years now. I really love REI merchandise my closet is filled with it. Unfortunately this particular location has a vibe that feels very un welcoming. For reference I am a middle aged black male and it's as if I'm ruining their day by shopping in their store. With that being said I do not wish to spend my money anywhere I'm not welcome
To be honest I really used to love REI, my whole community loved REI but with all 9f the new changes since the new ceo has taken position things have just gotten terrible. On top of that I just read that she broke all of her promises in regards to renewal of union contracts. I can't 8n good faith continue to shop here given the apparent downfall of the brand.
Found out today my word is worthless when it comes to parts for my bikes Anyway I came back to this location and Gerry & TQ were awesome very helpful with gravel tires and selections much appreciated guys I bought the Gravel King (Panaracer) to replace my blow sidewall on stock rear tire WTB Riddler Lite
Had a gift card sweatpants and socks
I understand they change seasons over like months in advance in other stores but to be an outdoor store and have NOTHING left for winter sports is wild. Also, the customer service by one woman in particular when o called and asked a legit simple question (if they had any helmets left) was told they were too busy to walk over and check. I was there the day before, saw a couple, needed a specific size and couldn’t drive all the way there for nothing.
