OOF. Rudest, rudest staff. Probably the worst REI I’ve been to in this country :( - everywhere from NYC to Colorado etc. Never again. I came in to buy shoes, hat, water bottle and likely other things but a) got completely ignored and b) then got treated incredibly rudely by a staff member. Oof never again. Wow
I wish I got the guys name that helped me in the shoe department but he was by far the most knowledgeable person I have ever talked to about all types of footwear. From boots, to running shoes, all the way to minimalist sandals, that guy knew his stuff. He said he had been in footwear for about 10+ if I remember correctly, and I believe it.
They had what I was looking for. Easy to find and was quickly out of there!
Garry was so friendly & so knowledgeable when it came to all the shoe options, particularly Chacos & Tevas! Seriously one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had.
