Overheard an employee talking about how local shops are terrible. After REI endorsed a guy who wants to destroy public parks. Stay away from REI, especially this one.
Always a bait and switch. 1 color 190, another color 280. Oh and if you want a swim suit they are available in feb but sold out in April. Reps are like baristas, all better than me.
Been a member since 2012. Website and app said they had “America the Beautiful” park passes in stock. Went in to buy one and they didn’t have any. Didn’t know when they’d be back in stock. REI used to be a reliable, community-focused store. Their corporate offices just got rid of REI Experiences nationwide, putting local guides out of work and taking away opportunities for community members to learn about the outdoors.
