I write this from the inside of the bend REI where not a single employee has asked if they can help me locate something. I feel like I can’t visit a single rei without being completely overwhelmed by helpful employees. Not only is there not a single minority of staff or customer in sight, but the pretentious atmosphere really made me want to kick rocks.
