I love REI. They have everything I need for outdoor adventures, climbing, and travel! I like being able to hold, touch, and try on the merchandise.
Today I’m a disappointed long-time REI member and unfortunately will no longer support them with my purchases. On March 17th I received a brand New pair of Merrell boots. Less than one month later my lace loop popped off while working. I hadn’t even hiked in them yet just wore them to a first week of work. No big deal, products can be defective. I took them into the Charlotte REI to swap and had 3 folks look them over and a manager deny me from return. His reasoning was that “they couldn’t be sold in the re-store.” Frankly t... read more
