I’m not from the USA, and I just came to buy some mountain gear. I found many great products at good prices, but what really stood out to me was the attention I received from the store’s team. I haven’t been to REI since I lived in Seattle many years ago, and have to say I was pretty disappointed with today’s visit in Boca. I am well aware that REI is on the pricier side, but I have always told people that it’s worth it because of the extremely helpful and knowledgeable employees. Love this boutique store for what we have needed in the moment. Friendly, helpful, and yes, im a member and have received many perks with my rewards dollars. No, we are NOT an athletic family and we have only bought fashion items... but my review is honest. Bought a northface down for kid in a cold place ($330), 2 down shells--- great prices with their private label, a pocket knife (because my then 14 year old wanted it), and hiking sandals that were waterproof and fashionable for myself.
