Great customer service. Very patient staff. Products are of great quality.
For such an upscale Sporting Goods store, it's the worst place to go to buy sneakers unless you have a ton of time. I'm not in the habit of writing bad reviews and wouldn't drop names in one but the young man who "waited" on me may have been knowledgeable about sneakers but Very inexperienced in Customer Service. I love REI. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by PJ. He introduced himself and asked if I needed any help or if I had any questions. I’m new to the area and to hiking so I wanted to know where to start. He told me several great areas to go to. He introduced me to Naomi who helped me find a pair of hiking shoes and some great smart wool socks. Really great selection, there is so much here, kind of gets overwhelming but perfect for anything/ and everything for the outdoors.
Very select items carried here, for specific activities. Good quality merchandise but way too expensive.
The employees at the REI in Northville are truly exceptional. Every time I visit I am constantly asked if I need help finding anything. When I do need help the employees are extremely knowledgeable and I always leave with gear that I feel confident with!
Love REI, you can tell they love what they do too. Great selection and staff is super helpful. My only complaint is they have so many awesome items its hard to leave the store w/o a bag or two, or three.
My favorite sporting goods store. They have everything you need for camping, hiking, and biking. They tend to be on the expensive side so watch out for sales. It's fun just to go in and browse and see what's new. Very yuppie.
Expensive, but hard-to-find camping, cycling, and hiking items in a well-curated store. Periodic good clearance sales on shoes. Check event calendar for local classes and workshops at this location.
