This is the lightest dynamic AFO I’ve ever come across. It was a bit hard to find, but absolutely worth it. Their customer service is some of the best I’ve experienced — they offered a free virtual consultation and then a one-on-one onboarding session with a rehab specialist to help me get started. It’s an amazing product and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their walking.
I’ve been researching articles about neuroplasticity and how repeating the right movement can help with brain/muscle pathways. Because of that, I wanted a brace that would assist with recreating the natural movement of my foot. This is the only lightweight AFO that did just that. On top of that, their customer service was excellent. They offered a free video consultation and walked me through how to use the brace properly once it arrived. 10/10 recommend!
After trying a few online AFO’s, this one is the only one that allows me to walk natural. The most distinct thing for me was is that it fits any shoe without damaging it and allows natural ankle movement. Simple and effective.
I’ve worked with many foot drop braces over the years, and this one stands out. The RehabStride AFO allows for a more natural walking pattern and is much better tolerated by patients.
Finally, an AFO that doesn’t feel like a chore to wear. I used to deal with a lot of discomfort from the 'strut' on my old brace rubbing against my foot, and it never fit right in shoes without insoles. Rehabstride is a breath of fresh air. It’s easy to put on, offers great mobility, and actually fits in my regular shoes. I’m also impressed with the durability,I got 9 months of heavy use out of the original cord before swapping it out. If you have an active lifestyle, this is definitely the way to go.
