My daughter has been waiting for Dars a year. Everytime my daughter calls them and leaves a message no one calls you back. I have taken my daughter over there in person and they keep saying the person she needs to talk to isn't there and they will call her back with never. I am so sick and tired of dealing with these people and agencies like this who keep say that will help but never do. They are getting paid for nothing. Down to earth, friendly and truly show how much they are fair and caring towards anyone regardless of where they come from.
Pretty terrible. You have to look on the website and tell them word for word what DARS offers to get them to give it to you sometimes. They take a very long time and are very overworked. If you tell your case worker youre real problems don't be surprised when they act like a dead fish. I recommend going in person had a much better time with one woman I talked to- different from my case worker.
This place is horrid; a complete scam preying on the most vulnerable Americans! It's clear the people here don't want to help anyone; and are only interested in scamming taxpayers out of their money. After receiving bare minimal services; I was given the run around on accommodations. I was told I don't qualify for any real accommodation; I was not "really" disabled; and I don't qualify for any future services. It was clear they were simply trying to get rid of me. Next time I'll talk to a lawyer before coming here.
They do not exist to help the disabled. You are the product, not the customer.
