Ironic that they say “Starting therapy early leverages a critical recovery window, when the brain is most responsive and gains in cognition, mobility and independence are greatest” yet my dad’s insurance approved him and they denied him and not bc my dad wasn’t a good candidate. He was originally approved medically wise by Select. They will only take a patient if their “financial risk assessment” team thinks insurance will pay even if insurance already approved them. Very impressed with the employees . Everyone from reception people, housekeeping, dietary, therapists, technicians, nurses, case managers, and anyone I forgot. They have been friendly, helpful, and patient. Everybody all the time smiling. Thank you all.
The physical and occupational therapy staff is amazing, caring, dedicated and knowledgeable. Nursing staff is very kind. The NP staff and pharmacy have no communication with patients or each other.The facility refuses to give a patient a printout of their medications being given. Patients are told by staff to use My Chart to track their inpatient progress, but My Chart says "No information Available". We had an exceptionally good experience at this rehab hospital. Every one of the staff members was professional and friendly - they not only learned our patient’s name, but our names (family members) as we visited regularly. Kendra, the speech therapist, was an especially outstanding staff person - not only gifted and skilled in her area, but also kind, encouraging, and helpful. But truly everyone gave their all to provide the best care for ‘mom’. We are deeply grateful for the entire staff.
