At the beginning of December, they did the functional evaluation for a rehab wheelchair. It's now the end of March and, after repeated attempts to get any information, I discover that they have not even submitted the paperwork to Medicare. Extremely non-responsive and not even an apology. Update: I finally got my chair in late April and am very happy with it. Got new chair to replace older one which is damaged. New chair can't make it out of my neighborhood because either it's wired wrong or something but they keep lying to the nurse that they have been talking to me the whole time but haven't talked to me in months, my caregiver also was told that they would be coming and never did still have no safe chair to get around in didn't think anyone could be as bad as national seating and mobility but I did
Wow!!! What an amazing experience! I would highly recommend this company over National Seating. Rehab Equipment Associates helped me buy my son’s cubby bed. He is autistic and was in desperate need of a safe sleeping option! The whole process took less than a month between when the request being sent insurance and approval. I am so grateful! My mother got assessed for a wheelchair 3 years ago by Derek Logan. The wheelchair didn't fit her needs and proceeded to ignore her. The process felt rushed and she's been stuck in a wheelchair shes uncomfortable because the contract he set us up with. Trying to get her a power wheelchair now through different means.
