This is quite lame. This entire week and the week before, I tried calling my counselor to see if I could get an increase for my transportation and other costs, as they have recently been going up. I have no clue what is happening with this place as right when I needed a change in my goals/plans for my disability, I could not even get ahold my counselor, neither has Regional Center called me back. I signed up with the DOR in November 2024. I was on time and on point with everything they needed. I called for a couple of months leaving messages that was never answered. I finally emailed and got a response and was told, “Oh you already signed the paperwork to get started.” Which I already knew that. So we signed everything else to get my training started. My personal experience with the DOR has been very pleasant. My case manger Erica L has gone above and beyond to help me and assist in providing all the resources I need to achieve my goal. I would highly recommend the DOR they have helped me build myself up in ways I couldn't do on my own.
I was referred and did not check the reviews.. OMG the lack of care lack of correct information given the first time, new workers I guess who take NO ACCOUNTABILITY for the actions when WRONG information or lack there of was given. Adura & Phillip are just lip service who repeat without answering questions which brings nothing but confusion.. That office should be AI the way I was treated and told I DID NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT THE SERVICE and I sure did DROP IT!!!! Not worth the stress or phone tag on getting correct information.... read more
