Most of the speech therapist’s try to do is prevent you going back to work
The absolute worst experience! They need a major administrative overhaul. My 94 year old father was scheduled in April for his Swallow Test. After an hour drive (because it's the only location in their system that does swallow tests) we are told that this will only take 15 minutes, because it's a 2 part test, and the actual "test part" will happen on a 2nd visit. When we left they told us someone would call within 24 - 72 hours to schedule part 2 ..... 30 days later I had to call them, and it's another 30 days to get him bac... read more
