I had a one month opportunity to be taught and trained at the center. The remarkable aspect is the fact that every single person I encountered were genuinely invested in the projects and teaching. I was able to be in six different classes, learning, and being trained on blindness: Home Management-cooking, cleaning, Communications-learning braille and low-tech, Orientation and Mobility-with the white, long cane, Technology-with computers and handheld devices, Home Mechanics-woodworking, Arts, Sewing’s, Crafting, etc. A worthw... read more
