High focus treatment center has been a huge part of my recovery journey. I have attended all 3 adolescent programs (PHP, IOP and GOP). In all of these programs the therapists have been extremely supportive, caring, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some extra support!
I went to an IOP here around four years ago. I am still paying it off, so I wanted to share my honest review years later. The psychiatrist I saw here was extremely Invalidating and condescending. The actual group therapy was awful, the group leader had zero control over the group and would allow other members to speak for over thirty minutes. The residential program I went to prior to this saved my life and it only took this program 2 weeks to destroy the progress I made. The group education for the trauma group is sorta irrelevant half the time if you're only there for mental health, as they like to focus on substance abuse a lot. But my main issue was the provider that made me feel invalidated and hopeless when I asked for a med adjustment that was denied and I was argued with about my own feelings and symptoms. Mr.Franz was the best and does a great job of getting us to focus on our future of abstinence from using substance while helping us exercise daily coping skills for our future endeavors!!!
