As a first-time mom, I would not recommend this hospital for another birth. I had high expectations, but I was deeply disappointed. When I arrived at 1 p.m., I was only 3 cm dilated. I was induced at 9 p.m., even though there was no medical reason to do so. I felt pressured into it, but I wish I had said no. I had my son in December of 2022. To summarize my experience at Region’s I would say that the labor/delivery was incredible and the postpartum experience was mediocre at best. Midwife Maria delivered my baby and I cannot imagine a better experience. She radiated kindness and filled me with confidence. Her experience was evident because she had a team of midwives and nurses in training with her. Maria and these young women surrounded me and helped me bring my son into the world. Just had our babygirl here 4/28/26 c section. I had the best experience here. All the nurses and I would like to do a shout out to JESS SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. For some reason I was really fixated on having a hat made into a bow for my baby girl and she made it happen (she got someone named Kenzie to make the hat for me who works in the NICU I think so again I never met her but big shout out to her as well) jess and was so sweet and I just absolutely loved her she was my favorite out of everyone. We had our first baby here on 3/28/26. We went into triage for decreased movement at 1pm on 3/27/26 (I was 38weeks & 5days pregnant). The nurse we had in triage was so nice and took the time to really listen to our concerns. After a couple hours of fetal monitoring via external monitor, a very nice doctor came in and told us they suggest we be induced because of some concerns.
