I went into the ER for abdominal pain, nausea and vomitting and was there for 8+hours and still didn’t find out what was wrong with me. I was miserable and left it the room for hours. Doctor Thao was rude and not very helpful. I’m self pay and I regret going to regions hospital.
The neurology medical team was phenomenal. Very professional and caring. But the nursing team on floor 10 was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. They were rude when asked general questions, and never, never followed up on a timely manner on anything they were going to do. They kept my husband’s hospital room so disheveled that it was hard to not feel it was actually unclean and unsanitary. Literally go to any other hospital before Regions.
Sent me home with a 6mm kidney stone which was obviously too large to pass. Now I have kidney damage and had to have surgery.
They are talking about how they don't want to go do this when this other person can do this, and that is it that. They got up so loud. In front of clients and visitors.
Patient/visitor parking at Regions Hospital is such a hassle that I debate why I even come here for care. I only really come to Regions for an annual appointment which I do receive excellent care and service. I schedule my appointment for after my work shift (early afternoon). It takes at least 5-10 minutes to find a parking spot that's not marked as valet parking, Gillette's Children's, or handicapped.
