My account was locked due to "suspicious activity/fraud" which could not be handled via phone or email. I left work on a Monday morning just to go to the bank only to confirm my address, something that could have easily been handled over the phone. I opened my Regions account more than ² years ago in Memphis. I am disabled; dying from two Stage 4 Cancers, Progressive MS & Acute Diastolic Heart Failure (from 2nd Hand Smoke). They have received two federal direct deposits for over 2 years now, continue to double bill me, NEVER resolve my disputes & have the compassion of a handful of fleas. It would be better for you to stash your cash in a burning mattress then this bank. Awful service took over 2 hours to set up my business account and they didn't even set it up correctly. Instead of inputting my business name on the account they put my husband's name on it even though they demanded to see my DBA and wouldn't allow me to open account unless my husband was present. Wow!!! If you are looking for a bank that puts the concerns of felons above your money, you've come to the right place. We had a check stolen out of our mailbox. It was cashed at the downtown Austin,TX Regions branch on Congress. It was cashed via a fake paper temporary Texas drivers license. Home Depot swipes permanent IDs to verify authenticity for $6 returns. Non-account holders at Regions have no such concerns when cashing stolen checks.
