I have been a customer at the Punta Gorda branch for at least 18 years and have had only good experiences in all that time.
I really appreciate being a customer of Regions, we have been with them for many years. We've done two seperate new construction loans, as well as personal checking, money market, along with business checking accounts. They are very helpful in giving us sound advise. i appreciate their expertise on our different financial needs.
After waiting a month and a half for the initial payment from flood damages I was informed by the teller that a two week hold would be placed on a 15000 check drawn off wells Fargo. The check was deposited and regions credited my account negatively with the 15000 so now I am in the negative thousands. I would stay FAR away from regions for any products. WORTH THE READ I PROMISE - if i could give 0 stars i would and i am not being overdramatic. this is the worst bank i have ever had to deal with, they charge an overdraft fee by the day, and everything is always pending. messed up on a payment? you’re not seeing that money for two weeks and that’s after you fought to have the issue fixed for 3 days. even cash deposits that you personally hand to a banker pends in your account. lastly, i have never ever had a bank tell me that closing an account is a process. all i want to do ... read more
