Went to the emergency room and the staff was very friendly. Nurse Betty and Evelyn super nice and helpful. Reason for the BAD review is Dr Salisbury. He had ZERO empathy, terrible bedside manners and told me they cannot do anything for me. I was in excruciating pain from a kidney stone I had for over a year. I asked for anything to help with pain and requested a shock treatment but was shot down both request. What blew me away is he told me to take my EXPIRED medication for the pain from a knee surgery I had 3 years prior. I... read more

I recently visited the Emergency Room at Regional West Medical Center. I was hesitant because I had not heard good things about this hospital. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent care I received. The physician, Dr. David Cornutt, took the time to make sure I understood what was going on, that I was comfortable, and that all of my questions were answered. This is the worst hospital. We called to to ask advice on my son who has RSV we wanted to see if there was another way to break his fever or if we should just take him in and the nurse Amy on the phone told us “we don’t give out medical information we can’t help you” and hung up!

I can't say enough about the professionalism, caring nature and empathy of the ER staff that attended my Dad after a traumatic car accident. They catered to my Mom and spoke to me a number of times on the phone as I was driving to Scottsbluff. His injuries were too much for his body to handle and he passed away. My Mom got to be with him and say goodbye. Thank you to the PA, the ER doctor, a neural surgeon, and the charge nurse for making a terrible situation easier for my Mom.
