Nice selection of homes of all sizes
We’ve had a very disappointing experience with Regional Homes. Our original salesperson was excellent—he walked us through the process thoroughly and clearly explained what upgrades were available. We chose to keep the vents on the floor and upgrade to a side-by-side refrigerator, which was the only thing that was correct upon delivery. Unfortunately, several of the features we requested—like the Craftsman-style front door, farmhouse sink, and microwave—were completely missing. I should not even give this company a one star but I had to give at least one. We have been waiting for over a year for our double wide mobile home to be fixed correctly. The floors are buckled, we have mildew on the floors in the bathroom and utility room. The vents from the ceiling have mildew around them and they constantly drip water. All of the bathrooms had leaking faucets and in return ruined the boards underneath. Not helpful at all. The first visit was ok, until the sales guy stopped texting us back. I guess we asked too many questions. Walked the lot by ourselves the second time we were there. Sat with sales and discussed pricing on a home. They were supposed to get back with us and never did.
I was supposed to be called for closing due to I had power of attorney and was not able to take off of work. So I had no clue about used homes being bought AS IS. I was told that banks inspect the home before they resell it and they did NOT inspect that trailer very well. There are cracks in the ceiling from them moving the trailer, Seal is coming off of the tub, back door does not open and there is a crack at the bottom of the door.
