store staff was rude and the store was dead silent. i had their sandwich a few months back and it was great, this past time it was stale bread and just not good. the deli makes a sandwich twice as good for half the price
Guys working were so rude. There was an awful vibe in the shop the second we walked in. No music no talking and we weren’t even greeted when we walked up to the counter. My boyfriend and I both work BOH in the service industry so we understand bad days and such. We were very nice to the guys working. Our sandwiches were missing a few ingredients, and when we asked the dude working the counter to add the ingredients he didn’t even say a word. Picked up a gorgeous Uncle Chubby sandwich today and it was PERFECT Yes $19 is a lot for a sandwich but I split it in half, and eat half for lunch and half for dinner. Considering that deli sandwiches are averaging around $13 right now, spending an extra $6 for some high quality ingredients is super reasonable. I rode miles on my bike out of my way for this sandwich today and I’m very glad I did.
Not a bad sandwich, though definitely needed some sauce as it was on the dry side and mine was also missing several ingredients including the peppers. Service and people working there seemed to hate their lives - come on guys what are we doing here. So much more potential left to be desired…
