Listing shows him as MD, but supposedly is a D.O., osteopathic physician. Sought out Dr Spisak because of being an osteopathic physician and was a patient for several years. All was okay so long as I long term issues didn't flare. I went to all regular three month reviews to maintain standard medications for asthma, heart, etc., and was never late and we communicated well. Very poor representative for the TriStar Skyline name, based on past experiences with other associated physicians and Skyline hospital. Definitely not a practice that I should have relied on. Thought the doctor actually listened and communicated with his patients better than some physicians who appear to be exiting the door before they get totally in the exam room. I have been going to Dr. Kevin Rigtrup for the past 10 years. Once a year, I'm always impressed by this clinic and the way they usher patients here and there so seamlessly. Everyone I've ever encountered here is friendly.

Had asked for refer to Dr. Carlson, but was set up to see Dr. Aprill. I was there to see about Prolia to keep a lot of hardware and replacement joints secure, as my doctor recently retired. H was polite enough but unprofessional when he made it quite clear that the stability of my hardware was not his concern. That is ridiculous when the medication needed is to keep the bones from becoming more osteoporotic. Dr. John Anderson is in the top 5 of internists in Nashville. He is incredibly well liked and highly regarded. Practices out of Centennial and is a go to for diabetic care.

I called to set up a yearly physical with Dr. Spisak. I hadn't been for a couple years and I was turning 50 so I called the scheduling department and told them I need to set up a physical I had never been to Dr. Spisak so I figured I would give him a try. When I got there they drew blood and dr. Spisak told me that I had hit the big 50 and it was time for a colonoscopy so they scheduled me one and that was it. Best physician I've ever had!! I've been sickly my whole life so I've had lots doctors but none tops these doctors and their staff. My kids see Dr. Kelly and he's awesome with kids. Me, my husband and 19 yr old son see Douglas. Both doctors have excellent bed side manner and truly seem to care about their patients. Dr Douglas will let you talk to him about any medical issue you are having even if takes a little longer. I've seen drs give you 2 min and walk out. Not these doctors.
