I would say if you're going to go with Regatta Building & Development Custom Home Builder in St. Cloud / David as the owner... I would go with someone else. It's been 3 years and we still have some work that needs to be done on the punch list. We have called and called and called and we left messages. Their foreman Mike has come out a couple times and attempted to repair our pool unsuccessfully. Also there's some sheetrock on our back porch that he has not finished. Dealing with Regatta was extremely frustrating and overall, a negative experience. Here are the facts: 26 months from contract; 19 months from permitting; no work done for weeks and months at a time; nearly 5 weeks to obtain CO (county check list ignored); attempts to charge additional for items included in fixed bid contract; still waiting on completion of punch list… bottom line find another GC or make sure to spell everything (including lack of performance language with penalties) in contract.

I was employed by Regatta Building and Development II for approximately 1 1/2 years selling swimming pools and project management. I sold many pools, however the owner (Dave Rieger) has refused to compensate me for what is owed and has told me that the pools we built have taken losses. I have been reaching out to him for several years to settle up on this and he continues to ignore me.
