Arrive on a Saturday afternoon around 3:20pm for a 3:30 check-in. Management was nowhere to be found until 4:30pm. When we went to check in, the manager informed us that we owe another $150 cash due to a rate change. We had driven for over 10 hours so **** want to complain and wanted to get settled in. Due to the high rating of this hotel, my wife and I chose it over others on Booking.com. I made the mistake of not checking Google reviews or BBB for further information. When we arrived the owner/manager was very nice. The room was fine and we left for an evening seeing a friend in a play nearby. We were told at the beginning that he required a $100 cash only deposit. When I asked to use my card instead, he said they don't do that.
