I stayed at the Regal last year and paid them a visit again last week. They have done so much work! New beds, furniture, new floors and most important, new flat screen TV's. Wow! Major difference. Plus, I can still bring my dog. I'll be back the next time I'm in Ventura County. Took some pics and uploaded them here.

I stayed here for over a month and I'd stay here again. The place may not look spectacular but it's the people that made my stay memorable. The owners/management are kind-hearted people, who do so much for the geusts. While the maintenance man and housekeepers jump through hoops to make sure I had everything I needed. The place has a real family feel. Can't wait to see how great the place is when all the renovations are done.

I have stayed at the Regal twice. Improvements have been made to the property by the new management and the rates are very reasonable. I enjoyed my stay and am going back next month. Marvin Roy, The Guitarist

We stayed at Regal Lodge in Oxnard two years ago, we remembered that the place was good so we came back. We reserved our old room that we had before. It changed since our last stay. This time I almost didn't recognize it., they did a lot of nice upgrades to the place. Now I give the Regal and 8 out of 10. they put blinds on the windows, no more drapes. they put in a new mini fridge, a new big flat screen television with lots of channels, the floors were new, painted the walls, and it was all clean. Two words...BED BUGS. After catching a few and showing them to the owners they still did not want to give us our money back. Plus they were still renting out rooms knowing they have bed bugs.
