Since I dont have dairy most cafes only stock plant based milks which contain harmful oils, however this cafe uses Bonsoy, which doesn't. So thank you and I truly enjoyed my coffee
We had a really disappointing experience at Refuge Cafe Parramatta today. One of us found what clearly looked like a bug/worm in our sandwich. When we brought it to the owner’s attention, he insisted it was “just chicken” and argued with us instead of taking the concern seriously. After going back and forth, we were eventually given a refund for the sandwich — but there was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to resolve the situation in a professional way. Nice big sandwich that was filling. Courteous staff going the extra mile for a client with a disability. Mug handles that men can get their fingers into.
Disgusting 🤢 A man made coffee for me, and I noticed that while preparing coffee for another customer, he tasted it with a spoon. He then used the same spoon to stir my coffee without washing it. Even though I had already paid, I threw the coffee away. Please make sure you watch how your coffee is prepared and ensure the spoon used to stir it has not been put in someone’s mouth.
