I took my mom to Dr Olsen for a low vision exam. Dr Olsen used a technique I hadn’t seen before, but was very effective. It was interesting watching him work to solve her vision issue. He used an eye chart as part of the exam, I loved watching Mom’s confidence grow as she could see lower and lower on the chart. Took all five of my kids to Reframed Eye and it was amazing. Dr. Olsen was patient, kind, and didn’t even flinch when the kids hit “zoomies mode.” His wife appeared like a benevolent fairy godmother—playing with the crew while I got my eyes checked and even helping my toddler when I was feeding the baby. Marie was a champ with my 3-year-old, who treated glasses-trying like an Olympic sport in evasion. I have rarely had the privilege of visiting an office in which I immediately felt so comfortable. The young woman who greeted me was super friendly and helpful and Dr. Olson was amazing. Normally, I have severe anxiety at any sort of medical appointment but I immediately felt comfortable and at ease. I have a lot of complex medical issues that can affect my eyes and I felt like all my needs were addressed. I will definitely be back!
Jared Olsen is such a great guy, so happy we found his office. So easy to work with and takes major insurance. One cool thing I saw is that Reframed Eye has their own version of Vision coverage that’s a monthly subscription, definitely something that’s unique. When you work with someone local like Jaren you’re definitely helping small business and that’s a big win for the community. Highly recommend checking this office out. Oh yes, he specializes in low vision so if you know someone definitely a good referral.
I’ve never had an eye exam that is this good! Dr. Olsen was super thorough and I never once felt rushed at all! And of course Marie is the best Optician/Front end Receptionist that makes you feel like you can ask her anything and that once you leave your not on your own ❤️ love love love this place!!! And my progressive contacts actually work!!!! First time ever wearing contacts that work!
