We are a home fitness equipment retailer based in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. In July 2025, Reforme Society purchased a batch of our cheapest entry-level Pilates reformers, which were clearly marketed and sold as home-use products. I was a member of this reformer Pilates studio for a year, paying $60 per week for an unlimited membership, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The environment felt very toxic and unwelcoming. The trainers often set unrealistic expectations during circuit classes, such as doing hundreds of kicks or punches (sometimes close to 1000 reps) in a short time. Loving the atmosphere at Reform Society! Pilates has completely changed the way I see exercise. I’m now going at least four times a week, and my body is honestly thanking me for it. I’ve only just reached my 10th class and I can already see real results. I do wish there was a little “doggy parking” at the entrance so I could bring my needy chihuahua along while I’m in class 🥹.
