Ultimately disappointed and exasperated. My process for buying and installing a gas insert started in January of 2023. By November (yes, 11 months later) my unit was finally installed but it wouldn’t stay lit. Tech came out many many times; 5 maybe- to their credit but never fixed anything. Really unprofessional and impolite. Terrible experience with technician Kevin Ryan unbelievable
Not super pleased with how everything turned out with this company. I had them out in early 2023 because my fireplace wouldn’t turn on. They sent someone out who “fixed” it but then it stopped working about an hour later and he couldn’t figure out how to get the fan going and said I needed to call a mechanic for that. I called them back and they scheduled to come out later that week to fix it. Refiners Fire Service fixed our fireplace after we used two other companies. The other two couldn’t do the job. They also made our dog happy!
We purchased a propane fireplace in April. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to work with the manufacturer and marketer, I tried several local companies to see if they could get the igniter to work. No one was interested. At last, I reached MaryAnn at RFS. Bottom line: Tyler and Kevin figured out what the problem was, ordered and installed a new part. After the propane was connected, Kevin even returned to program the remote control. Works perfectly, nearly 6 months after we bought it! Highly recommend this company.
