The flame in our fireplace was going on and off and was giving us a lot of concern. I called Refiners and they got a technician out in just a few days. Jim, the son of the owner, arrived on time, did a complete inspection, and fixed the issue. Jim also cleaned the glass and put glowing embers in the fireplace, which pleased my wife very much! Refiners Fire Services is a family business that does a great job! Thank you, Jim!
Refiner's Fire Services has been maintaining our home gas fireplace for over 10 years. The service has always been prompt, thorough, professional and friendly. Most recently, we had an issue with relighting the pilot light (it's an older unit, installed in 2003), and Kevin made an adjustment and got it going - just in time for the wintry weather. I highly recommend.
We have a very unique fire feature that we were having problems with. Refiners Fire were able to solve the problem and by so doing, giving us many hours of enjoyment. I would highly recommend them.
Ultimately disappointed and exasperated. My process for buying and installing a gas insert started in January of 2023. By November (yes, 11 months later) my unit was finally installed but it wouldn’t stay lit. Tech came out many many times; 5 maybe- to their credit but never fixed anything. Finally, the following May (2024) they replaced the whole unit because I don’t think they could figure out what was wrong. When it started to get cold again in November same story.
