Would NOT recommend taking your JDM here. I spent many hundreds of dollars here for them to do a full vehicle inspection on my Hiace. The JDM mechanic was out of the shop, and they told me that they were still comfortable working on it (and charging me full price). I told them I was going on an out of state road trip and was on a time crunch and just wanted to make sure that battery situation was okay since it seemed to be drawing power and it died, I got a tow. Josh mentioned he would like to be a yoga instructor, the perfect temperament for someone trying to keep Vanagons alive and well! We made it all the way from Seattle to Bellingham on our Alaska trip before noticing an issue of concern (par for the course when on a Vanagon safari).
