Paid for public swim. When my son and I entered the pool area, there was an hour left before public swim ended, which was perfect for us. Sadly, we were asked/told to leave 20 minutes before that hour was up. The reasoning I was told was because they were about to start practice yet, not all swimmers were there yet, and some were not even dressed out and ready. The cost I had to pay was a bit much in my eyes. My local rec center, regardless if you are a resident or from out of town, is on $2 per person for open/public swim. ... read more
