Dismissive of concerns. Quick in and out of the room. Suddenly refused to refill a prescription that I’ve taken for years- no conversation whatsoever other than “sorry, I will not prescribe that med” upon asking for a typical refill. Switching care
The biggest red flag was when she prescribed a medication I’m allergic to (which was on the screen she was using), then she left my medical information open on the computer at the end of our session for anyone to see. The whole thing felt like fast-food medicine - more concerned with getting me out the door than caring about my health.
I was disappointed with my recent visit. As a breastfeeding mom, I was prescribed a medication that is not considered safe while nursing, which was concerning and made me feel like my situation wasn’t fully considered. I was also told that I “need to lose weight,” even though I’m only four months postpartum, which felt insensitive and out of touch with normal postpartum recovery.
