She is the best UC doctor I have had in Colorado. She tells it like it is, and she listens to me. I don’t need the fluff, what I need is a doctor who is straightforward and understanding, while providing me the right plan to get better. I have received nothing but the best care from her and her staff.
went to her with a complicated case that she didn’t want to handle so she put the blame on me and said it was my choice to “get better”. very offensive, raised her voice at me multiple times and treated me like i was below her. the office made me make a follow up appointment that i later cancelled. i would never go to this practice again.
Horrible, her and Dr. Allired, didnt heed my advise about cough during colonoscopy and probe went thru my colon. Had to have emergency surgery. Went in for 20" scope came out 1 week later. Still having problems 6 months later. Need another surgery. It is my opinion these 2 are negligent.

Went to the ER Sunday at 4pm. I've had bloody diarrhea for 3 weeks now and I've lost 18 lbs. CAT scan was normal so Dr. Patel was consulted. She wouldn't even speak to me, instead telling the ER doctor not to give me antibiotics as he wanted to, and had him relay that I needed to make an appointment for Monday morning with her office. Called this morning around 10:30am. Receptionist said she can't get me in until May 9th. I told her I can't wait that long, so she left a message for the doctor. Never heard back.
