Want to go there and fish
Just wanted to take a moment and share how much we enjoyed the pelican tour with seasonal interpreter Christian Rhodes yesterday. He did a wonderful job and gave a very informative tour! We also saw lots of pelicans. We always love coming to Reelfoot!
This is one of our favorite places. We’ve been on a pontoon boat tour and a bus tour during The Pelican Festival with Christian Rhodes as our guide both times. He’s extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When we took the bus tour, it rained for the entire 2 hours, but he was determined to find some pelicans, and he did. He also kept us entertained while we were looking with fun facts about the area. He’s definitely a keeper! Thank you, Christian!
Its was intresting. Its the lake that was formed when the earthquake of 1811-1812 made the mighty Mississippi run backwards for a whole day. The quake rang the church bells in Boston Ma.
