It was beautiful
Great fishing, on a windy day had fun.
Real Root Lake is so peaceful and the crappie fishing is excellent. It too, is a bird watcher's paradise. I could be a bit biased because it's where my wife's Manaw loved to fish. She was an avid angler.
We stopped by this park for a few hours, threw a line in and had some BBQ from a nearby restaurant. It was just an amazingly beautiful day, the scenery was jaw dropping, and the wildlife was abundant!
You Need a boat to be able to do some good fishing around here. Not a good spot for bank fishing. Most areas are private unless you are staying there for access.
