Not my normal place to stay but a good hotel overall. Could do with an update and face lift but servicable all the same. Great spot, close enough for an evening stroll to the marina for dinner, Service on arrival was good but a little weird. Rooms were awesome. Would likely stay there again if my usual spot I stay isn't booked out

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I've been in many of the lower budget places in Cairns and this is the best by a loooong way. The rooms are spacious, carpeted (tiles --> UURRGGH) and quiet (thick walls). Bed and pillows were great. Modern aircon, bathroom nice. The only thing approaching anything bad would be hot water takes a minute or two to get up to temp, and that's me being picky. Do not even give this place a thought. They have refused to refund money that was owed to us. I wouldn’t even let my dog stay in their rooms absolutely disgusting. The staff are extremely rude. The managers are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever met and disgusting. NEVER STAY HERE EVER!!!!!

Needs a total redo. Everything in this place is outdated. Filthy 2nd hand scourers, dirty looking tea towels, lights not working, mouldy stains on curtains. Door locks aren't very secure. Couldn't use the couch as it was so uncomfortable. And told there is a problem with theft in the area so had to strip out anything that could be stolen from my ute. Disappointing for the money I paid for the stay.
