My experience was very unsatisfactory. The reception lady was beyond rude and surly and her husband not much better. I did not find the room very clean, no lamps old linen and when I asked for a towel which was totally missing I was made to feel it was my fault for there being no towel and I was expected to do dishes even though I paid good money for the room. Next time I will keep driving and give my money to someone else. Awful.
We booked a room through booking.com which I have now received a message asking to cancel our booking as they no longer have any rooms available. This is unacceptable that they can make you cancel a booking after it’s been accepted to say they have no rooms available.
We booked a dog friendly room - it was a really lovely room, very very clean, freshly remodelled bathroom and kitchenette. Friendly owners. Good value for money. Great location, easy to find after a long day of driving. Highly recommend.
Room was very clean and tidy, The couple who own it were lovely and accommodating,would definitely stay there again.
