First off, let me say that they did a fine job bathing and trimming our dog. We have a border collie, which is listed on their website for $39-42 for a bath/haircut. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick her up and the bill was $72!!! Was told that their prices had gone up, and weren't fixed on their site (they're still the same price right now). I take my Poodles and Afghan Hound to Reef dog, they always do a wonderful job!

Hideous Grooming! Shaved sheltie. I asked for nothing radical. All of the breed features were just shaved off. This groomer did not have a clue how to groom the breed. Then just smurked as she looked for a way to blame me. I am so disappointed. I wanted to support this small local business. Gulfport is a haven for rescued dogs. What were you thinking? Shame on you.

I do not know what the problem is with the Maltese owner who gave Reef Dog such a poor rating but I think she is totally wrong. I have been taking my standard poodles to Reef Dog for 5 years and they do a GREAT job. Mary the owner is particularly talented and she really loves the dogs. My dogs love to go into Reef Dog because they are treated so well. Mary was ill last spring and let others run the shop for a few months because she could not. Those people are gone.

This shop has a cute surfer dog theme, but the quality of grooming is terrible. I took my maltese there for a haircut and he came back choppy and uneven. Mary was the name of the groomer who did him. I do not recommend this shop.
