Love the park
Very scenic
20251011: Ready Creek Nature Preserve is an awesome place to hike; being your dog; play basketball; go on a nature tour, or fish in a pond. Apart from the greenway, no bikes. I went on a 5 mile hike with the Piedmont Hiking Club (today there were 4 of udms), and this was my first time to this park. We were on at least four trails: Umbrella Tree, Dragonfly Pond, Stone House, and Sassafras Tree trails, were some. All of the trails are well marked and groomed. Most trails are dirt, gravel and sand. We saw one that was paved.
