If you know you will be doing a rebuild or purchasing a remanufactured trasmission, this could be the place to go. Be prepared to pay something because no 'free estimates' exist with these folks. And have a pocketful of patience, they are not the quickest to pick up the phone and call you back. Seem to be pretty decent people overall.

I called them about fixing my Lincoln Navigator which was not shifting properly. They checked it and called me with estimate for much lower than my service advisor at Ford had told me it would be. They installed the part the next day. Very well pleased with service and they explained all repair work very thoroughly. Will be back.

I took my 2005 Impala to Reed's Transmission for a new transmission because that's what the Chevrolet dealer told me. Reed's said I didn't need a whole rebuild and was able to put on a part and saved me about $900. It's still going after 30,000 miles. I appreciate their honesty.

They repaired my Nissan pathfinder at a much lower cost than everyone else. I would definately recommend them.
