We love that we have the opportunity to go to the pool here. The staff is nice and the renovations look great. Only thing is I wish the pool was warmer. My son wears a long sleeve suit and he shivers the whole time we swim, until he doesn't want to stay cold anymore and we leave. It's a bit colder than the rec center pool.
The newly renovated pool in Reeds Gym is an amazing addition to the campus and community as a whole. After 4 years of being closed I’m glad it has finally opened. From the water temperature, to the lane size, the lighting, and how the chlorine isn’t as strong makes it a perfect pool to swim in. The pool is the perfect depth for diving and the blocks are competition grade as well. I hope ISU will allow future competitions such as high school or club swim meets to be held at this pool.
