I wanted to go but weather the day of our trip was cool and rainy. The tour operators fully refunded our payment...with no hassle. They were very nice on phone.
Worthwhile trip on the Klamath with 3 Yurok tribal members, full of cultural stories, how the dugout canoes are made and local history. Engaging conversation about how the upcoming dam removals will affect the river and the People who live along it. We recommend this tour.
My family and I took a 4 hour ride on a Friday morning with three kind and funny young Yurok men. They generously shared stories about the natural surroundings, the life of the River, and some of their own personal experiences. It was an honor to ride in their newest redwood canoe and a unique experience to feel the seaworthiness of such a boat.
