They set up a first appointment with an appointment card with a date & time on it. I provided all the paperwork for my boyfriend to them. I called earlier in the day & advised I was having a cast off and he might be a few minutes late. The lady was nice. When I arrived a minute after the time on the card, I was advised that he was 15 minutes late. Even though I had the card. They stated that the card didn’t matter. After Laura Johnson sold the practice we hadn't been back. I had started a new job so I didn't have insurance yet. My wife called to have a prescription refilled and she was told that since the new nurse practitioners hadn't seen us yet, we'd basically be new patients. My wife asked how much we'd be charged for an appointment and she was told that it would be over $250. My wife once again told them that since we had no insurance, do they offer a cash discount. I am very proud to be a patient at David Ray's office, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality medical team. From the front desk staff to medical assistants, everyone is consistently friendly and helpful. They take the time to get to know their patients and ensure that all of their needs are met. They make it their mission to provide the best care possible and go above and beyond to ensure that their patients are comfortable and taken care of.
This medical office gives that great old school medical office feel. One where they care about patients and not about having a big new fancy office. I appreciate how much Dr. Ray actually listens to you, and takes his time answering any questions that you may have. I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for my appointments and the office staff is very helpful. I will be switching to Dr. Ray as my primary care physician.
