Let me start by saying … FOUR root canals were absolutely NOT on my bingo card. So yes, I showed up nervous, anxious, and needing a little more reassurance than the average patient. I could not have asked for a better dentist (and dental assistant). They were both incredibly gentle and patient with me. They took their time, answered EVERY question I had, and cared about making sure I was comfortable. Would I volunteer for four root canals again? Absolutely not. I don't recommend. Though they are a rare of only a handful that do accept Medi-Cal in SR, it doesn't make them a good facility. I went there a few years ago for an emergency exam and they only had one size X-Ray device for all. It was the first office I had been to that didn't offer multiple sizes for multiple sized jaws and mouths. I challenged them and asked what if a small child came in that really needed a pediatric size x-ray film holder and they said it would still be the one size fits all which was really too big esp... read more
I have full respect and trust for my dentist and the staff.
This is THE Most Disgusting Dental Office. Yes, it accepts Medical-Cal but it is also a petri dish of contamination. Blood splattered walls, teeth ripped out of your mouth, paper clips used for posts. It is a horrible office. When the DDS/ owner is known as THE BUTCHER it’s time to evaluate your options.
I put four stars because at this point I have had preventative care done on my teeth. This office has improved greatly from a year ago. The front desk ladies are now knowledgeable and friendly, I experienced no negative nasty attitude… just smiles and thank you. Daniel is a young man that made me feel very welcomed and he was efficient and Ready to go when I arrived. My dentist… is a sweet lady who does a great job both times I visited.
